WINDANG is an LFSR-based harsh noise synthesizer designed for experimental musicians, noise artists, and sound explorers. Built around a digital noise synthesis technique known as the Linear Feedback Shift Register, Windang combines dual triangle VCOs, a lo-pass gate, glitch echo, and CV inputs to create evolving textures, rhythmic chaos, and unpredictable electronic noise.
An LFSR is a logic circuit that generates repeating streams of bits through a chain of flip-flops and recursive feedback, creating complex pseudo-random sequences that drift between pattern and chaos.

WINDANG produces a wide range of unstable digital textures: from rubbery pulses and slushy modulation to metallic chatter, percussive glitches, harsh static, broken-glass noise, and abrasive mirror-scraping frequencies.
Windang can also be used as an experimental signal processor, allowing external audio to interact with its internal synthesis and processing circuits. Feed it sounds from instruments, contact microphones, drum machines, or other audio sources and use its filter, lo-pass gate, glitch echo, and LFSR-driven behavior to transform them into something entirely different.
Windang is built for harsh noise, industrial music, experimental electronics, sound design, and exploratory synthesis.
