NIMB is a no-input mixing board drone oscillator, drawing inspiration from the no-input mixer technique popularized by Toshimaru Nakamura in Japan’s Onkyo movement.

Essentially, it combines the functionality of a mixer and an effects pedal within a single module. This DIY design revitalizes traditional sound synthesis methods, offering a fresh approach to exploring and manipulating pure feedback sound. The result is a user-friendly noise-generator-synthesizer that delivers powerful sonic capabilities in a small, easy-to-use package.
